Following the fantastic success of our inaugural event last year, which raised over £113,680 for College’s bursary fund, we are extremely excited to be launching Giving Day 2023!
For the second year, Giving Day will be dedicated to raising funds for Beale Awards (bursaries) at College, so that we can widen access to the transformational opportunity of a CLC education.
During this 36-hour online fundraising challenge, over Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June 2023, we are aiming to raise as much as possible for the Beale Awards. Thanks to generous match fund donor Dr Fiona Pathiraja, Council Member and Investor, the first £20,000 raised will be matched pound for pound, meaning that gifts on Giving Day will go even further towards supporting these inspirational women of the future.
Giving Day is an exciting opportunity for our global community, which spans more than 75 countries, to come together to celebrate CLC and make a difference for pupils.
We hope that as many people as possible will feel able to donate. Every gift, large or small, is gratefully received and will help to make a CLC education accessible to even more girls with potential and a positive attitude to learning, regardless of their financial circumstances.
